The SwiftPatch™ iron-on adhesive tape is a heat-activated polyamide mesh fabric that permanently bonds fabrics together: cut strips, position, press with a hot iron for about 10 seconds – done. Application
- Cut: Cut a strip of SwiftPatch™ slightly larger than the tear or hem – choose the appropriate width depending on the repair area.
- Position: Place the mesh tape between the two fabric layers or slide it under the folded hem and smooth it out.
- Iron: Glide a hot iron slowly over the spot for about 10 seconds – lift the iron, the bond is permanently sealed.
Pro tip: For very thick fabrics like denim, use the iron on the highest setting without steam and extend the 10 seconds calmly to 15 seconds – this way the mesh melts completely into both layers and the bond remains reliable even after frequent washing at 40 °C.
